Desala’s only son, and grandson of Baal. Vazier suffers from a deformative genetic illness that renders him painfully crippled and socially outcast. Though highly intelligent, he is nevertheless despised by his grandfather and resented by his mother. Vazier lives for the world within his mind, protected by irony and jocular cynicism.
