    [CODEX ENTRY 1530: MARDUK’S PROVIDER]

    The most beautiful virgin in the city, selected to entertain the god, inducted into the Naditu, virgin serpent priestesses. Should she fall pregnant, in Egypt, she would rise to Divine Adoratrice of Amun; in Babylon, Entu, wife of Marduk; in Greece, putiadulai or hierodulai, most adored priestess. Her daughters coveted, as wives for the king or pharaoh, giving divine legitimacy to their rule, as arbiter between the gods and their subjects.

    The Divine Adoratrice ruled over the temple’s duties and domains. In the Hammurabi’s Code of laws, dictated by Marduk, the good name of the sacred sexual priestess was protected by the same laws which protected married women, from slander, securing inheritance, and income from land worked by their brothers. After the age of the gods, this role was given to the king’s sisters, that he may secure its power.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1511: THE TEMPLE COMPLEX]

    Designed as the house of the god. Only the god could enter through the main gate. worshippers had to use the two gates on either side. Apart from the priestesses, only men of fighting age were allowed in temple. Worshippers would be questioned and inspected for any lesions, fever, or other defects. Anyone who failed inspection was banned from temple for three weeks.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1531: PRIESTESSES]

    From the 5th century BC, after the time of the gods, priestesses saw their prestige collapse. Priests pimped their services, ritual intercourse, in return for donations. Later, all women were required to sell their virginity at temple to the highest bidder. As Christianity heaped further slander upon them, the greek for priestess became puta or putain, meaning prostitute, as well as hiero or hor becoming whore.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1110: IRIN]

    In ancient Aramaic, ‘IYRIN’, meaning guards or watchers, are associated with biblical angels. The Irin were dispatched to Earth to supervise humanity. the Books of Enoch tell of their fall, alluded to in Genesis 6. angels mating with human females, living briefly in luxury amongst us, as our rulers. They taught humans art and technologies, before, on the gods’ return, their arrest, and downfall.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1111: ROD OF THE ELOHIM]

    Exodus 17, ‘Moses said to Joshua, “…go fight the Amalekites. I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands” …As long as Moses held up the staff in his hand, the Israelites had the advantage. But whenever he dropped his hand, the Amalekites gained the advantage. But Moses’ hands were heavy…and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus, his hands were steady until the sun set.’ This was a weapon that was bestowed by the gods on Irin and occasionally to their most trusted human leaders.

    Sun day, the day for worship of the Gods of the Sun, the Molech. from the western Mediterranean to the near east, preparations for temple day began on Friday, with shaving, haircuts, and washing of clothes. On Saturday, Sabbatu, no work was done; meat was served twice; and sex or masturbation were forbidden.  Inside the main gates there was an area for removing clothes and footwear. Up the stairs would be the washing area.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1540: HYGIENE LAWS]

    Washing was central to temple law. Worshippers would sit on small stools and wash their entire body carefully three times, applying antiseptic oils. They could then enter the main hall. They would pass three large brazen altars in the inner courtyard. After completing their worship, they could collect blood and milk waste from a large cauldron. This they would place in a gourd and take back to their gardens to fertilize the earth.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1112: HALOS]

    Ezekiel’s description of the angel descending from his flying chariot two years earlier, in 593 BC. “All around his face was a glowing halo, like a rainbow shining in the clouds on a rainy day.”  Watchers who had to walk among the humans would generally keep their visor up to protect them from infections. The association with angels has extended into all religious iconography.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1521: GIVING SEED TO THE MOLECH]

    The fertility rituals of Baal involved the offering of semen. virgins, kadeshem, danced to rhythmical music, protected by temple guards. No worshipper could touch them. Young boys, Kadesh, carried bronze bowls, with milk and egg yolk, which preserved the sperm at room temperature. In turn, honey helped to preserve the milk. This was why Yahweh referred to Canaan with the derogatory term ‘the land of milk and honey’. Abstinence, a day of rest, and meat the day before, ensured the highest quantity of spermatogonia stem cells for sun day. These stem cells are unique; self-renewing; and multipotent. These are the eternal germ cells present from birth to death.

    [CODEX ENTRY 1522: PUTTING THE CHILD THROUGH FIRE]

    The first-born male of every family was, by law, the property of the Gods. If the parents and child were healthy and vibrant, the child may be sacrificed eight to twelve days after birth, with the parents receiving a gift from the temple. For those not selected for sacrifice, a life dedicated to working at the temple. the screams of the dying child would be drowned out by the crashing of symbols and blowing of horns. Once the blood had been offered to the god, the body would be burnt in a large bronze sacrificial oven.
