CODEX Entry 2622: Bilderberg
Bilderberg meetings were founded in 1956 by the mysterious, Éminence Grise, Józef Retinger, and financed by the Ford and Rockefeller Foundations as well as business groups with close ties to the US government¹. The leaders of the European Movement which gave birth to the EU, Retinger, Robert Schuman and the former Belgian prime minister Paul-Henri Spaak, were also founders of the European Council. With Tony Blair and Bill Clinton both attending prior to securing their positions of preeminence there is the sense that this annual meeting is of the King makers, rather than the world’s leaders.
